Architecture | ResidentialSEAandSKY is a new 53-acre mixed-use development in Squamish, BC. The 950-unit community (475 townhomes and 475 apartments), is located on an old industrial brownfield in a spectacular location along the Mamquam Blind Channel. Waterfront Landing will be linked to downtown Squamish across the Channel by a pedestrian drawbridge that is aligned to Victoria Rd. Major pedestrian axes are provided within the site by a ‘Boulevard’ and a central ‘Greenway’, both terminating at a commercial village (The Landing). A wide waterfront promenade in the village, and natural gravel trail elsewhere, parallels the Mamquam Blind Channel and forms part of a site-wide perimeter loop. Each neighbourhood is linked to adjacent neighbourhoods by streets, lanes, greenways, multi-use and strata trails.
