The Sales Centre flanks one side of the grand community entrance to a new residential community in Luanda, Angola. The building creates a bold face to the street with a façade in the abstracted form of a Baobab Tree. This same expression will be repeated on the opposite side of the community entrance in a future commercial village. The Sales Centre building skin will be backlit at night with changing gradations of colour and brightness bringing a bold sense of form, colour, and texture to the building advertising its presence to the passersby. The interior courtyard of the building is in stark contrast to the outside street façade. The building wraps around a calm garden oasis creating a strong dialogue between the building and the landscape, inviting the visitor in to enjoy the tranquil setting.
