After Two Months of Hard Work…
EKISTICS Bellomonte Design Package was finally completed and was proudly delivered to Havana last week. Our talented multi-disciplinary team created a 120-page Vision Book, a 600 page Commercial and Economic Bid Book, and over 120 plotted A0 sheets, plus a digital submission – all in 3 languages!
This undertaking was part of a limited call for proposals to undertake the design for the 336-hectare Bellomonte Golf Resort project in the Playas del Este neighbourhood of Havana. The Bellomonte site presents a significant opportunity to deliver the first new golf resort community in Cuba since before the 1959 Revolution. As such, the importance of “getting it right” is paramount.
EKISTICS is further being asked to provide project design management services between the various international designers and the Cuban stakeholders. This role will include managing the development of a “project image and brand” for the future marketing and sale of Bellomonte’s offering of real estate, hotels and golf. As the assigned project design management team, EKISTICS is hoping to play an important role in ensuring that all design works by the various foreign design consultants are in keeping with the original project vision.
