EKISTICS is looking for Junior and Intermediate Designers to join our Vancouver studio, working within a skilled multi-disciplinary team, in a diverse and fast-paced studio environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior and Intermediate Designers are key participants in assisting EKISTICS to meld the disciplines of urban design, architecture and landscape architecture. They bring a strong technical and design sensibility, providing design support within our studio on tourism, resort, residential, mixed use and large-scale urban design and master planning projects.
- Qualified + Driven: You hold a degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Urban Design.
- Skilled + Experienced: You have 3 – 5 years of experience and a strong design sensibility. You have a good grasp on Digital Programs to produce 2D and 3D work. Comfortable working at a variety of scales largely during the Concept and Schematic Design process. We are interested in candidates with a variety of backgrounds including Urban Design, Architecture and / or Landscape Architecture.
- Good Communicator: You have good written, graphic and verbal communication skills; and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely within the project team. Ability to speak Mandarin and English beneficial but not a requirement for the position. Energetic, confident, and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Team Player: You thrive on teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment and value our clients, their vision, and goals. You have the ability to manage small teams. You are adaptable to shifting project demands and have a strong sense of professionalism and pride in work, both individual and team-generated.
