EKISTICS International is looking for an Intermediate Architect / Designer to join our Vancouver studio, working within a skilled multi-disciplinary team, in a diverse and fast-paced studio environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Intermediate Architect / Designer is a key participant in assisting EKISTICS with architecture and urban design projects. They bring a strong design sensibility and are confident developing design concepts on tourism, resort, residential, mixed use and large-scale urban design projects. Experience with Glulam / CLT buildings is useful. Some travel to Asia and/or Caribbean with team members required.
- Qualified + Driven: You hold a degree in Architecture.
- Skilled + Experienced: You have 5+ years of experience and a strong design sensibility. Experience with 3D modelling programs, CAD / REVIT, Adobe Suite. Some freehand drawing ability is useful. You have a demonstrated ability to generate designs at a variety of scales from concept through to detailed design.
- Good Communicator: You have good written, graphic and verbal communication skills; and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Ability to speak Mandarin beneficial but not a requirement for the position. Energetic, confident, and comfortable discussing design concepts with principals, clients and other consultants.
- Team Player: You thrive on teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment and value our clients, their vision, and goals. You have the ability to manage small teams. You are adaptable to shifting project demands and have a strong sense of professionalism and pride in work, both individual and team-generated.
EKISTICS is a multi-disciplinary design and consulting studio specializing in master planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, new community design and land development.
